Omega Profile Production Line – Automation & Control System

Comprehensive design, assembly, and commissioning of an advanced control system dedicated to a roll forming production line for Omega profiles. The system is based on reliable components from leading industrial automation manufacturers, ensuring high positioning accuracy and production cycle optimization.

Hardware Scope of Delivery:

• ✓ Control Cabinet: Designed as an ergonomic desk-type control console (1200x400 mm), equipped with a dedicated forced ventilation system.
• ✓ Roll Forming Stand Drive: Apator Control AMD-E 15kW variable frequency drive (Delta Electronics VFD-E).
• ✓ Sheet Metal Feeder System: High-precision ASDA-A2 servo drive system (Delta Electronics).
• ✓ De-coiler Drive: Asynchronous motor controlled by an Apator Control AMD-E 2.2kW inverter (Delta Electronics VFD-E).
• ✓ Flying Shear: Advanced motion controller based on the Unidrive SP 1406 drive (Control Techniques) equipped with a dedicated SM-Applications PLC coprocessor module.
• ✓ Main Controller: Logic control algorithms implemented on a DVP-SX2 series PLC (Delta Electronics).
• ✓ HMI Operator Panel: DOP-100 series display (Delta Electronics) – providing full process diagnostics and machine operation visualization.

Scope of Realization:

• ✓ Development of complete engineering documentation and electrical schematics in EPLAN Electric.
• ✓ Control cabinet assembly, wiring, and workshop testing.
• ✓ On-site installation and machine field wiring at the production facility.
• ✓ Application software deployment, technological startup, and production trial support.
